Summer Beach Cleanups a Great Success
August 1 – The final day of the Summer cleanups at The Wall attracted a record 40 volunteers. They removed 226 pounds of trash from the beach, found out more about Surfrider and enjoyed a sunny afternoon by the ocean.
The day finished with the free raffle – open to everyone who had signed up at any of the four cleanups. An amazing selection of prizes included:
Surfboard from Cinnamon Rainbows
Sandals and T-shirts from Ocean Minded
T-shirts, leash and grip pad from NH Surfrider
Pizzas from Flatbreads
The surfboard, a 7’0 Erie Peeples, was won by Viviana from Portsmouth.
A big thank you to Dave from Cinnamon Rainbows and Marc with Ocean Minded for supporting the NH Surfrider cleanups and doing a great job with the raffle.
